To me, this is the best kind of photo art in that it captures a fleeting mood of the model, especially in an unexpected or candid way, where she shows an emotion or reaction mostly unintended.
That's gold, for the artist / photographer! The best are able to get that to happen and capture it. Avedon, Eastman, magicians!
And there are no better subjects than some of the modern musicians...they're on the pointy edge of music and art, it's always been that way.
You've done very nicely with this photo post-shoot, as well. It shows your ability and vision very well.

Thank you. I agree, although we were basically bitching at each other through the short shoot lol (it's how our friendship works). She got upset that I sprayed her arm (it comes right off) but everyone that shoots her has her look the same. I like to transform people. She didn't let me do much, but I think she will next time. aside from the foil and black spray, i really wanted to do a few more things with styling, personally I'm pissed at myself and feel like she did great, but to me I felt like I just shot senior portraits or something when we stopped (not that I ever have).

Better to be bitching at each other sometimes, I think, if it gets a reaction from your subject.
I see so much on dA which relies on photo angles, cropping, and manipulation when a good, old fashioned pout is what interests the viewer.
