First of all, heya to all whoever still check here and mah stuffs! *waves to ya* ; w;/
I mean, I still draw, not much but this fine I guess.
(And I post more on mah Twitter tbh, so... you should follow me there, really, no joke :U)

Hmm, I don't have lot to share about this particular picture. It's a reference sheet and that's it. x"D
It took me as always long to finish. I've started it in... uh, July if I remember well? I actually finished it daaaays ago and just posted it on Twitter first.
Now, here I am today.

However, I think there's lil interrogations that are worth clarify; Who's Unkno?

What he is? Just a hybrid guy over there belonging into my headworld now and on who I've been working on as a character since I've first created him in 2013.
  At first, he was a fan character that was meant to only appear as a random NPC inside a fandom RP I was into back at that time and he was looking like nothing he is today. Then he turned as a... feral dog, this didn't last long at all though. And years later after a huge revamp, now he is his complete own thing belonging inside my headworld and my own species 'cause I never wanted to throw him into the garbages for some reasons, lol. I've recycled him 3 times so far and his development led him to what I believe is what I honestly want for him.

Next question that I'm sure is worth clarifying; Why a griffon?
  Unkno is a magical guy, a very smart and quite talented one and he decided to create for himself a 'griffon' form because he was pretty much seeing himself as one. It took him a huge while to succeed(decennies and beyond) about making that form since he really wanted to create it as almost a complete different entity(I want magic to be hard to master inside my world, not a sort of system where you just 'boom' and magic solve everything, e.t.c). So, when he turn as this feral birdy, at first he may own the same personality he was as an anthro dog, but eventually his original self 'go to sleep' and the griffon personality take the lead. It's still him, but him if he would have been a griffon since the beginning if this make sense at all. It's like starting a complete new life somehow.

Now, Why night and space?
  It's what Unkno love personally, space is beyond fascinating for him. He took it as inspiration to create the look of his griffon 'cause why not. And yes! You could admire space inside his griffon's mouth like that was actually it. :3

Then, what I can add as personal view on this; this was my first serious take on creating a 'bird' related design. I am no expert into drawing birds nor wings, but since it was a griffon and considering the 'why' it exist, I took complete liberty and tbh, I didn't want either to create a typical griffon in the end. I pretty much went as, "How my dude would like it?", so there. V:
