NO PANTS, WOO-OOI'm super excited for the new DuckTales! So excited that I, uh, drew more Kirby fan art? Yeah, that checks out.
But for real, I like playing with character designs and art styles, so I thought I'd interpret Dedede and Vul in my closest approximation of the show's style. It was a lot of fun!
Funny thing, it's normally a minor peeve of mine when people draw Dedede with his shirt but no pants -- it's always all or nothing in his official designs. But, c'mon, I had to. (I was gonna let Vul have some but they looked pretty stupid on him, and a friend wisely suggested I toss 'em.)

Wow, King Dedede looks GREAT in the reboot's art style.

I am still in absolute awe over how well you managed to not only copy the style, but convert these two in to such a style. It's hella! The posing is great too, I really like Dedede's more showoffy pose right next to Vul's more upright and at attention pose, it contrasts really well.
The lineart is very good, and looks so clean! And dang, I know they don't have pants, but the other clothing details? Are on POINT. All in all, amazing job. ;u; b

He is an angry little man.
I've had it in my head that Vul's a little bit shorter for several years, but I'd kind of forgotten why I thought so and started taking it for granted, whoops. Turns out he looks taller than Dedede in the original Super Star sprites, but his model is shorter in KSSU's cutscenes -- in both cases, I measured them with waddle dees.
