I finally received my birthday present (24 more copic markers jukshdfukhusdhf I could die happy now) aaaand now I really have to figure out how to use them properly... Than... oh wow the colouring looks fantastic! I will never understand how you guys do this with markers. IT LOOKS SO SMOOTH. every time I try there are pressure points and lines everywhere haha x3
anyway this is fantastic, the shading is awesome, especially on the scarf (wow) excellent job!!

If I have to be honest... This is the first time I manage to use copic markers without generate a completely disaster But copics are good 'cause the huge quantity of solvent (even if they dry quickly!) let you go over and over your colouring, blending colours instead of creating pressure points and lines, the "only" challenge is learning how to use them properly X°D Than.. Thank you so much for leaving a comment! I'm so happy you like my little work!
btw as soon as I have time I absolutely have to look with more attention to your gallery I saw such amazing things, I was like "You're kidding me "

Ahh I have only used prismacolor markers before, those are the only "good" markers I've tried- at least I think they're supposed to be good ones? they are kinda pricey >>;
Do you think Copics are better? or do you know...I'm just curious, I might try traditional colouring again sometime this year, maybe. I am currently working on getting back into drawing, but I'm going with digital for now, since I wouldn't have to buy colouring supplies XD
I have to buy clay supplies and there's no way I can afford both! ;_;
But yeah, maybe if I do some traditional colouring later on I will try the Copic brand, I'm sure it would take me awhile to get the hang of it- but if you can get colouring to look as nice as this then I think it would be worth the effort!

Oh don't misunderstand me, I really have not the competence to judge if a tool is better than one other and so on X°D I don't know what kind of markers are prismacolor if I have to be honest o^o I was referring mostly to "traditional" markers, which I absolutely can't use, I really am not able XD But surely there are people good with them Even in this case I don't feel to say copics are better... Just different X°D Personally I tried those markers a couple of years ago (I bought a few of them at a comix fair, 'cause where I live it's impossible to find them in a common shop >_>) and I'm really satisfied 'cause I love the "watercolor" effect they give
But they are so expensive ç_ç Than I may suggest you to check if they are similar to prismacolors you use (who knows? XD Maybe they're nearly the same XD) before you decide to buy some of them

I always order my supplies from dickblick.com (they have the best prices for art supplies) I looked around and I can get them cheaper there. They are still a little expensive yes, but that's okay. Good supplies aren't cheap! x3
But I like how you described them as having a "watercolor" effect. I used to paint in watercolor, that was a long long time ago but I really enjoyed it!
I've already made an order for supplies this month, but maybe next month I'll get a few, just to try out ^_^

Oh lascia stare, è un regalo che è arrivato quasi con due mesi di ritardo ma se li è valsi tutti Q_Q Me felice. Almeno ora posso più o meno finire un disegno senza dover tappare i buchi con gli acquerelli ehm X°D
Ahah il "creepy" è perché io ho l'enorme problema che coi colori non ci vado d'accordo proprio, o perché carico troppo, o perché non sono in grado di abbinarli... Quindi è tutto un'incognita 8D Grazie mille per il sostegno Q____Q <3
