Just voicing how annoying it was that the Omega Ranger had no character development, unlike his counterpart DekaBreak in JapanRelated content

As I understand. Β In SPD the actor for Omega Ranger had an agreement to not be on screen. Β It was a choice and stance he made himself. Β He would later come to regret that decision.

That annoys everyone, it seems. Bruce Kalish did later admit that it was a mistake to limit Sam to just being a ball of light, but it doesn't change anything at this point.

Sentai did a lot things the Power Rangers have not, like remain interesting

Disney cheaped out and didn't want to pay another actor. Seriously you're already giving him a time travel gimmick, giving the character more actual depth, to say nothing of an actual body would've been nice.

I heard the reason was the actor didn't want to show up his face in the series (which is why in the scene where he returns to the future, he's shown very little under a light filter), decision he now regrets. It makes up for a plot point, because in a team-up with the Dino Thunder, the SPD went to the past and were able to remain in civilian form (same happened to Bridge in Once a Ranger, but that was probably handwaved by the Centinel Knight using his powers to bring him without complications).

Totally right. I'm starting to watch more Super Sentai than Power Rangers, no matter that I can barely understand a little bit Japanese.
