Kamen Rider Decade had a crossover with Samurai Sentai Shinkenger in Japan last year, the first official team-up between the two properties. Sadly, in the US we're stuck with the Power Rangers team-up to help out Saban's Masked Rider (ugh, the less said about that show the better...)Related content

Of course, Saban would have fucked everything up if they had tried this. Just like they did with Masked Rider in Mighty Morphin season 3.
There could be a chance Hasbro might try in some way. They have the U.S. rights to Power Rangers now. And Beast Morphers isn't so bad for a first attempt.

This stuff is a major inspiration behind Volkonir, which I'm developing. Β It's a little like Kamen Rider, but cares more about telling a compelling story with a compelling mythos than on whether or not it can sell toys. Β
With themes that include discussion about genocide, murder, implied sex, the villains cashing in on the drug trade, the hero's benefactor recruiting persecuted minorities directly from prison, minion foot soldier creatures that bleed out rather than blow up, the hero being under FBI surveillance, the benefactor using the hero to test equipment and inventions of questionable legality, the hero's crush losing a child to CPS, and the villains cashing in on political corruption to plot a hostile takeover, it's definitely aimed at teens and young adults, rather than little kids. Β But it still features a main hero modeled after Masked Rider, with a romantic interest modeled after several different Power Rangers.
My point: if Americans can't get a decent Kamen Rider stateside, why not just create an original property that occasionally employs the same tropes? Β

Β I don't know why the Riders don't catch on in America. Dragon Knight didn't do very well either, as much as fans love it. Neither the light one, Masked Rider, nor the serious one, Dragon Knight, got Β watched Β enough to get a season two.
Well, ToQger and Ninninger got KR team ups too, so we'll Β see in time if something gets done with that footage. Β So I'm hoping even more that we get to see the guest Rangers. Aurico, Shane, Chip, and Cam randomly showing up on different occasions? Yes please.Β

Oh please, Power Ranger is a copyright. Its Super Sentai. Take that one Kamen Rider Decade episode for evidence, where Decade and the others stumble upon the Super Sentai dimension.

I really don't see any fucking way they could introduce Decade and Diend into Power Rangers without confusing the SHIT out of all the viewers that DON'T know about the source materials.

Simple, they use it to introduce Decade and Diend just like they did for Black RX in MMPR season 3. Except Masked Rider ended up sucking really bad.
But Samurai is long gone and it never happened.

Power Rangers was cheesy, but fine when Saban first had it and when Disney had it. Now that Saban has it back... We got an okay Shinkenger adaption, a shitty Goseiger, an even shittier Gokaiger, and a good Kyoryuger

Kamen rider dragon knight was an american adaption of kr ryuki not done by saban. its far better than masked rider was.

Indeed it was. It was truly a well done American adaptation of Kamen Rider. I dare say I liked it better than Ryuki.

I dare say that as well. Mostly because I've never seen Ryuki, or any other KR show besides dragon knight, because I can't find any translations of the newer ones anywhere.

Also I saw this youtube commenter who was saying that Adness entertainment was taking Ryuki and turning it into "A stupid kid's show". And I was like, KAMEN RIDER IS A KID'S SHOW YOU DUMBASS. Sometimes I just love it when stupid people say stupid things.

Adness also did something very rare among American Toku adaptations.Β They used more ORIGINAL footage that they shot themselves than they did Ryuki footage. If you wanna check out some Kamen Rider fansubs, I'll send you a link.

The people behind power rangers are more money grabby when it comes with Tokutatsu shows as with Power Rangers they recycle allot of Super Sentai scenes that just don't fit like their god awful American adaptation of Gokaiger. The few really good power rangers series like RPM were ones that you could actually see allot of effort put into with filming some of their own action scenes instead of relying on Super Sentai scenes but they attempted to take it off of the air by putting it on the worst time slots and spreading false rumors on the budget getting miss spentΒ

actually it's becoming a TRILOGY! The 3rd movie was hinted at if you stuck around and saw the post-credits scene, where it has the announcer guy saying "There are still MORE heroes of justice." and shows a picture of Kikaider's face covered in some shadows, but you can CLEARLY see it's Kikaider.
