Yep - this is piece is 100% digital! Very out of the norm for me. BUT, we needed the character to be extremely transparent. If this was just going to be on a blank background or a dark background then I'd have coloured him traditionally, but we needed to have the finished version on both a light and dark background, so I figured it made more sense to do a digital colour rather than fight the editing process for hours on end and still get a sub-par result. I definitely prefer the dark background version but we're keeping it consistent with the light background here. 😛

Speaking of transparent, that watermark. XD Normally I put the watermark over it at about 40%, but that made our ickle ghosty utterly disappear, so I had to lower it down to 5%, and almost thought I'd have to lower it further.

Fighting with colouring something digitally definitely solidified in my mind that I'm a traditional artist through and through. Digital definitely has its perks, but I like paper where everything's on a single layer. 😛 Digital artists, you have my utmost respect. Please give me my paper back now. XD
