Description
After so much emphasis on traditional media these last couple of months, I needed to seriously refresh my digital skills. So I decided to digitally ink and color a sketch I did of Pinkie and Rarity helping Sci-Twi prep for her first belly dancing lesson.I decided to try something new with colored line art. I wanted to do more with this pic, but Photoshop began to freeze up on me. Still, this made for some excellent digital practice - which will help me complete a few (non-MLP-related) projects I've been dragging my feet on!

A sequel to Dance Magic would be something! As far as duet partners, I think Twi might lean toward Fluttershy, Rarity or Sugarcoat.

Strangely enough, there was an era in time where belly dancers could expose their midriff, but exposure of the navel was classed as an obscenity.
So, in order to get around those restrictions, belly dancers resorted to jewelling their navels.
But since those censorship rules were dropped years later, it's more of a choice thing.

Hmm. Belly Dance and MLP: Friendship is Magic (Equestria Girls Universe, anyway)... 2 things that you wouldn't think would go together and yet this one piece of art here manages to tie both of them in a way that would make sense.
