Description
For a while, I've been wanting to take a shot at emulating the style of Simpsons creator Matt Groening. I decided to render Sunset Shimmer as she might appear as a Simpsons character.
Penciled and inked by hand, colored in PS CS5 (on my MacBook).Β Considering that shading and highlighting is rarely seen on The Simpsons, I decided to forego it here.

And the statue that Twilight comes out of is the Jebediah Springfield statue.

When Twilight comes out, Jebediah Springfield's head falls on her like in the HD intro. For added comedy, Nelson Muntz does his signature "Ha-Ha!" when the head falls on her.
