Translation:

1954, the year when the first kaiju appeared. Target city: Tokyo, Japan.

It is believed that the creature emerged during the last times of the II WW because of the Hiroshima nuclear bombing. Another theory says that it can proceed from the nuclear test in the Pacific ocean. It is also believed that is the last surviving dinosaur from millions of years ago, which was awaken by the bomb and was mutated so that it became the mightiest creature on Earth with great skills.

After the destruction of Tokyo, the kaiju was killed by a chemical called the Oxygen destructor, which was activated by its own creator, who died with the kaiju and all the sea life in the Tokyo bay. The records of that scientist dissapeared, but it was suggested to not do new nuclear tests, because that incident was a warning that the worst thing was about to happen. Unfortunately, the governements didn't heard this, as usual, and the continued with nuclear experiments.

The first kaiju was named Gojira in japanese, and its English translation is known as GODZILLA, the king of kaijus. Kaijus are great beasts that can reach colosal heights of 50, 100 or 200 meters; their most known characteristic is their resistance against the weapons of human armies, even to the most powerful. They remind of mythical creatures, insects (sic), prehistoric beasts, aliens, mutations, gods, etc.

There are very famous kaijus as Rodan, Anguirus, Gamera, Gomora, Knifehead, Zilla (the yankee Godzilla), Cthulhu, Clover, Quetzalcoatl, King Gidorah, King kong, among others. Some people are afraid of kaijus, other are fascinated; there's something called "the kaiju culture": the kaiju fans see them as wardens or celestial messengers. At any rate, the kaijus are gorgeous and incredible creatures; not to mention that in the oceans were found unknown creatures that can be denominated as true kaijus.
