I got bored tweaking my 3D None... so I went back to sketch out an animation idea that is just so cool inside my mind.Completely rough with mostly key frames and key inbetweens.
Just wanted to have somewhere to post them.
First animation for Mystic Shenshu, yay~~~ my caligraphy manga series, that involves a world of mystical power located in China.
God... I haven't worked on this series for a while, I miss it, but SVA is such a slave driver when it comes to projects.
Whipped this out in..... 1.5 hour I think.

Edit WIP3: Got stuck on the caligraphy battle.... every battle in this series is tough to design... I will come back at this later.

don't like it much until the girl and fight. Enjoy the fact that you feel that you don't have to use solid lines. If possible you should give the video game Okami a try on either ps2 or Wii. I think if this is something you see yourself doing more of looking at that game for it visuals would be beneficial for you.

I still haven't beaten the final level on that one. I play alot of games till the last place and then never finish.

I tend to play video games alot in the summer nights or when I am taking a breather from being outside and binge art make during the fall and winter. If I keep out with the photography I shall have a nice art interest to tie me over during the summer. I like 90 degree and up wheather only and humidity hate anything cooler then that so I like to enjoy it 9the wheather while I can. A video game I can excersize my mind with a visually orineted activity like I would art but be able to stop and go with it more easily like I want during the summer.

i used flash to do traditional animation techniques, learn from the old Disney masters, my animation is still rough compare to them.

Take place in a mystical ancient China, so both will dress according to that time + a bit modern imagination. XD
