Hee hee this is what you call "arranging devotions" I spend longer time on the piece I like from sketch, and some I use more common methods to deal with them... Yes the background is done by selecting with magic wand, and the blur is created by motion blur... it's a simple piece. I personally like the pencil one better. I still like the background though. Maybe I can rework on it. ^^

The characters and the background are great but there are certain things I don't like very much. I don't know if the glow around characters is intentional but it makes the background look flat and doesn't fit very well. Second thing are the white antialiasations that exist occasionally, it almost looks like you have colored this using the magic wand No offence but I think you're such an experienced artist that those shouldn't be there Well, I still like very much

ahem... ok... fantastic piece... lines look good... but there is also this technic called the push and pull technic... if u can apply this technic then it will look even more awesome...
