I've been staring at this one for so long during the process of making this. Here's a list of why:
1. Finding problems, fixing them, then finding more, then fixing, then being forced to tell my inner critic to shut up because the deadline is really freakin' close.
2. Story considerations; I was unsure how to go from the first panel on this page. This could have gone through so many ways, and it took me a while to decide.
3. More color or not? It took me another long while to decide whether I should introduce color or not, and also decide whether I should try to shade it realistically, give it cartoony shades or none at all.
4. The 'real' monster: What was it supposed to look like?
I'm such an indecisive, perfectionistic guy sometimes. Normally I wouldn't agonize over most of the concerns, but this is for a contest with tangible rewards.
Anyway, I'm hoping at least this will be liked.
Next page should be done tomorrow. It's only 3 panels.

I like this colouring scheme alot, it's simple and it shows off your vastly improved linework, and the different linework colours are really well placed and fit as smoooth as silk.
