Description Now we're up to the juicy stuff. Started a few hours ago, now it's *checks watch* 12:15 AM. Should go to bed soon. Hope the paint dries by morning.

Dunno what I'm gonna do with feet, if I do decide to make feet. I'm thinking tentacles, but I'm not sure.

I'm lovin the spikes on the back, though....they rock.

I took a few pictures of it with my webcam, then pasted them together in MSPaint. Do it a favor and enlarge it...I didn't do a good job thinking about how DA shrinks every stinkin thing.

Quite interesting. I attempted making a Borg Furby once. "We are Furby, resistance is fufu." Alas, not sure where it went to. Probably out assimilating things. This is much creapier than my Furby though.

Oooh, lookit him now!! That is one freaky furby. I would NOT want that thing in my room, just because I think he'd crawl under my bed and wait for me to go to sleep before killing me. I love those arm, though.

Tell me about it....what's worse is that when i finished watching " Dreamcatcher" for the first time tonight, I nearly jumped out of my skin to see it lying on the kitchen counter...I had forgotten I put it there earlier.

But still...it looks even EVILLER now...I added more red paint and I'm trying to put a clear coat on it to keep the damn stuff from peeling off. Hopefully the spikes won't fall off before Friday....

it just OOOZES evil. and it's even better because it's not furry anymore....it's POINTY and SHARP.

random mother: "Now sweetie don't run with that Furby, you'll poke your eye out."
kid: "WHEEE! *trips and falls on spike, gruesomely impaling an eyeball* AAAAAAAUGH!!!"
mother: *sighs deeply*

*cackles* it's getting late....beddy-bye time.

I was in the antique store today looking for weird stuff, and I found this chinky made-in-china necklace with these giant plastic FANGS hanging on it. It was supposed to be for a (quoted DIRECTLY from the package): " Tribal Head Hunter Necklace...A good accessory for costumes-afro-headhunter affairs, etc." That's exactly what it said.

Anyway, for a buck I got the fangs and instead of putting them on his head like I originally thought, I picked three fangs and hot-glued them to his back. Then I painted the base and tips red with acrylic paint.

I painted eyes on the eyelids so when I turned on the Furby you could see the painted set of lids. It should be freaky....like said before they'll either fail me or give me an A.

*lol* Don't you just love foriegn marketing?

That's really cool though, this is inspiring me to do the junk sculptures I used to make and also makes me wish I had a digital camera.

I hope they give you an A.

Hey, just do what I did and get a junky webcam for 5 bucks. There was a special at Staples where you bought the webcam for 30 bucks with a $25 mail-in rebate. TRUST those rebates, THEY DO WORK!!!

thank yew, though. what sort of "junk" sculptures were they?

I still have 2 more evenings...we shall see what happens with mah Furby.

I shall have to attempt that... knowing me though I'll just wait it out and sell some art to get money so I can get a really good one (because I love taking pictures of things, but can't afford to develop film half the time)

I would remodel old toys and make new ones out of them, it's not really junk sculpture now that I think about it, but from the ages of 7-15 I would melt, cut, bend, break, glue, pin all sorts of things I would get bored of my toys and make new ones. my favorite though was buying cheep army men and cheap dinosaurs and I would cut the army men heads off and put a dino head on as well as put a dino tail on it, I made my "animal people" (this being before I knew about furries)

Cool cool
