Summary of the story:

The current events currently happening in the main show are all canon, however the story ends in V10 with the heroes all losing. Salem has gathered the relics, Killed almost all the main cast and team RWBY have failed to unite Remnant.

When the gods are summoned things don't go as planned. The God of light set the terms but the God of Darkness had other plans.

While Light was secretly watching over remnant, Darkness really did leave the planet and when he returns he's even stronger than his brother. Furious at the fact his brother revived humanity into a pitiful shell of their former self and countless other crimes such as making Ozpin his champion and not telling him he's drawn the final straw. The biggest offence is that Light removed the memory of the one family in remnant Darkness cared for the most. He brutally shackles his older brother and later Salem. He then turns his attention to the last surviving hero, Ruby.

He has two ideas, which one he goes for will be decided on a coin toss. He summons a strange blue coat and the moment Ruby touches it memories of an old friend who Ruby and Yang cared for magically come back. Darkness tells her he's willing to give 'him' the chance to rewrite this tragic fairy-tale if she flips the coin and lands on the blue side. Luckily it did. So Darkness harvests the power from light and turns back time just prior to V1 at the moment Ruby’s friend died and he is revived as his Champion 'Mazin Azraq.' Now he's going to keep his brother alive and spite him by showing how his Champion will succeed where Ozma failed. Memories of both Mazin and his past family members all return to the people who knew them. As soon as he wakes up after being revived he's given his mission; gather the relics and defeat Salem. shortly afterwards he meets Amber.

From there we follow the main story (V1 - V10) from his both his and his new teammates perspective.
