Description My interpritation of the Egyptian Goddess Bastet.
I have given her some golden wings.

She's actually quite diferent from my normal creatures because my normal creatures are actually a type of fairy... my fairy creatures have black (whites of the eyes) and have 3 toes and a thumb... where as animals and Bast here have 4... I still gave her round pupils because like I say she's a goddess not a cat, she could appear human if she wanted to.

I'm a great ancient Egypt fan, and I approve of this pic. This pic has to have the most intricate and beautifully decorated collar I've ever seen (ancient Egyptian jewellery is great for that kind of art) and I like the wistful expression in her eyes. The finer jewellery details are neat as well. The wings look a little wind-blown and tussled, like she has travelled far.Β 

One interesting concept would be to show a comparison between cat-like and human-like forms for her.Β
