Now I haven't posted a Mega Evolution sprite since Mega Crobat so I thought maybe I should post another one in a way to contribute something new other than Pokesweets. This sprite obviously is of what could be possible a Mega Evolution Design for the Pokemon Kingler. If Kingler were to Mega Evolve I would want it to look something like this. The original design to this Mega Kingler belongs to deviant user . Please take note that I only own the sprite of Mega Kingler, not the actual concept art. All credit goes to Tomycase for creating an incredibly excellent design for a really retro Pokemon. This has to be one of my more successful outcomes for a Pokemon sprite, let alone it being a Mega Evolution. Working on this has truly felt like a change for me in sprite making.Updated to show the shiny version.

I like to think that Mega Kingler would be a Water/Bug type. Brock did once say that Kingler is weak against "Air" attacks.

Yeah, but crabs are crustaceans, which are essentially sea bugs.

I honestly never saw the Krabby line as bug type. The Corphish line looks the part to some extent, Dwebble & Crustle are actual Bug type Pokemon & the Clauncher line look more like Water/Steel types due to the gargantuan pincer. (Also I'm not sure I'm the only one who thinks this but Clawitzer's pincer makes him look like a sidecar.)

I named a Clawitzer after Samus Aran because of that gargantuan pincer.

I would have added some more features to its design to distinguish it a bit more from the original kingler. I would also have made it water/dark type (if that dual type isn't overused).

thanks. I actually used some of the color template from the animated sprite that somebody else made for him. I also came up with a color scheme for the shiny version but I think I would let Tomycase think up the color scheme for his own Pokemon design.
