Well to put it (extremely) simply, it's a webcomic about four kids who play a game called SBURB, which results in the destruction of the world. Then, in this game, the kids get cool powers and it is their job to create a new universe. Then there are the trolls, who are grey and have orange horns, and they guide the kids through their game. Throughout the webcomic there is frequent time-travel, so it's very easy to get mixed up in the timelines.
And I must warn you, it doesn't make much sense until Act 2, and it only really gets interesting in Act 5, when the trolls come into play.
