Description
This is by far the most time-consuming piece I've done. I'm extremely happy with how Colbert came out. I was worried about capturing him, but I think I achieved it. Stewart was a challenge, but I managed to finish him without going crazy.Three reference pics(one for Stewart's head, one for his body, and one for Colbert) were used. This was all hand-drawn and painted on the computer without tracing or grids. I can happily say I won't be painting any black suits for a while.

This is one of the best renditions of Stewart that i've seen. That being said, he could stand to be a little shorter, since he's only 5'7" and Colbert is around 6'. If you see pictures of them together, there is a large height difference. Of course, it doesn't really matter, just a small little something I noticed. It doesn't take away from the picture at all. In fact it's probably better with his height the way it is; it lends more balance to the overall picture. I'm really just a sucker for details, really, so I felt it ought to be mentioned.
Love this piece, and love the rockin' background! Their likenesses are uncanny, it feels as if they would pop out of the monitor!

It really is true that the young audience does really go to these men for the news rather than MSNBC, CNN, and/or Fox News. I can always rely on these two for what is going on in politics. Watch them everyday!

You got everything perfectly. Stewart's half professional, kind and almost apologetic look; Colbert's insane eyebrow and looking-for-a-fight attitude. Bravo. I thought this was a picture at first, I seriously did. I know talent (mainly because I've got none) and you have it.

The expression of Colbert's face is priceless, this is fantastic! I could talk about it for hours. It's seriously perfection manifested into a very humorous picture. Watch em every weekday. Loving the sharp look. An incredible painting! The lighting between the two is but different but I think that's because of the colors of their suites so never mind. Anyway, amazing work which is so going to my faves
