I just watched the newly dropped finished cartoon from former Ren and Stimpy creator and complete ebhebophile,John Kricfalusi,which was the 7 years in the making Kickstarter project “Cans Without Labels”. and boy,it was completely terrible. I know George Liquor is a hilarious character,but they managed to waste his character in a long in production cartoon that turned out to be pretty dissapointing rather than John originally Intended it to be. The CGI angles are horrible,George and his nephews looked more like CGI cutouts in the CGI world,we got some horrible animation such as George moving without his legs walking when he’s about to spank Slab and Ernie,the facial expressions and timing is poorly done wrong,and they keep on playing the ominous tune over and over again. Plus this cartoon is animated in 4:3 as supposed to 1:69. I also watched Mr. Enter’s review of it as well and he was right about this cartoon, this cartoon was in development for 5 years before finally being finished in 2017 and released in 2019. The final product we got a horrid piece of s**t that managed to ruin John Kricfalusi’s reputation as a animator along with his sexual harassment allegations in 2018 and destroy George Liquor’s character. I think this short would’ve been better if it was written as an episode of Ren and Stimpy back when it was in its prime when Spumco was still producing the show before being fired from production in 1992. I can imagine Ren and Stimpy being Liquor’s costars in this cartoon instead of his nephews and instead of using finding horrid and terrible ways to trick George into believing they eat the face,Ren would’ve come up with better ideas to get rid of the face by hiding it in some places before deciding by letting someone eat it(by feeding it to Old Man Hunger or The Baboon)
