* Both are big Disney villains with even bigger personalities who are completely pure evil and power-hungry.---
* Both are animal-like monsters (Ursula is a Octopus mermaid thing; Oogie Boogie is a talking sack of bugs).

* Both once had lived lavish lives before it was taken away from them (Ursula once lived in the palace having fantastical feasts; Oogie Boogie was once the ruler of his own holiday world).

* Both also once knew the kings of the places they lived in since their childhoods (It's implied in the Little Mermaid musical that Ursula was King Tritons sister; Oogie Boogie was best friends with Jack when they were kids in the book The battle for Pumpkin King).

* Though they ended up losing all of this and then was banished by the rulers.

* Both gained Kaiju forms in their attempts to take over the places they live (Ursula became gigantic thanks to King Tritons Trident; Oogie Boogie became huge in the Ps2 game).

* Both [no shocker] were defeated by the male member of the couple protagonists of the movie (Ursula got stabbed by Prince Eric; Oogie Boogie got untangled by Jack Skellington).
This is definitely as of now my preferred for Ursula and favorite alt for Oogie Boogie... It's so peak....
