My theroy on Gryphons is that you can take any bird and any mammal, crap the two halves together, and it makes a gryphon.Related content

Nice posing. So is it a mix between a rat and a humming bird? 'Cause I think that's the other half you crammed with it xD.

Beautiful gryphon! I'm a fan of interesting and unique gryphon combinations, and this is certainly one I have never seen before 8) (Plus I love small gryphs).
And indeed that theory is true with me (I had a gouldian finch/yellow mongoose gryph).

I like your theory on Gryphons because it inspired you to create this adorable creature.
Amazing job!

ITS SOOO CUTE! Im just going to assume that is a hummingbird/hampster gryphon.
My theory is any bird and any wild cat. My favorites are the African Owl Gryphons (horned owl/lion) and the eagle Leopard Gryphons (eagle/snowleopard)

Absolutely love the detail and care given to its extremities; particularly the shading/lighting which in itself adds a lot of depth imho.

It's the most adorable gryphon idea I've ever seen! Great idea and nice composition of the flowers and colours. I would love to see such an animal in real life.

I know this is a shamefully unoriginal comment for such an original creature, but SO CUUUTE! This is one of the most adorable things I've ever laid eyes on.

Actually, gryphon is any bird, and lion. It's a combo of the names. 'Gryph' is a large bird, and 'on' is from lion.

My favourite animal mashed with my favourite fantasy animal *tear drop of happiness* Your theory is so simple yet so creative. And the art itself is natural and not overpowering, I like that!

its good to see more than the just eagle and lion gryphons, i like to mix birds and mammals together too, such as one i did was a quoll and a magpie lark. its a pretty cute idea with the mouse, i was actually going to do a mouse and a robin until i saw your humming bird one, but its lovely, good job
