Been having some issues painting hands recently so I did a sorely needed study. I hate drawing hands in scenes, HOWEVER for some reason if it’s literally just a picture of a hand it’s pretty much my favourite thing to paint ever.Related content

One can never draw or paint enough hands. So beautiful and challenging, and you always have a reference handy

Thank you so much! I do try to draw them without a reference when I do them in a larger piece (which is probably where my problems come from) but this one was definitely heavily helped by reference and it definitely makes all the difference
