I've tried out your tutorial but I can't move off of the saving part. I've saved my sketch as a monochrome bitmap, and then as a 24-bit bitmap, but all you can see is a few pixel lines of an image...
How can I resolve this?

This does happen alot if u don't have a good scanner. One of salving it wood be to trace over your pic a pen then scan it in. That is what I do every time I scan stuff in. I hope that helps.
