Check out the speed painting youtube video of this picture here www.youtube.com/watch?v=4B57wM…Based on McJohn Art Desolate Future 'Speed Drawing' Description, which is set in the distant future, with FE representing the time that humankind Fled Earth.

Today we made first contact, entering the atmosphere was a little ruff. Our space Ark lost three of its ascension thrusters due to atmospheric pressure and the controls in our extra shuttles were fried. We'll have to make several repairs before we can send back any samples, but the surface seems stable. Plug 3-071 is checking on the damage currently. but aside from the Ark's condition, we sustained minimal damage, so at least that is something to be thankful for... even if it took us two hours to cut our way out of the Ark when the door decided to give us some attitude.
We landed in the ruins of a city though which one and where we are is impossible to tell without a more thorough search of are surroundings.

Today we found the power supply Plug wanted. It had been lost in the crash, and we found it surrounded by what appears to have once been some sort of robot, but now is just a pile of debris. I didn't think we had standardize robots so much when we left earth but we can clearly see that there are heaps of destroyed robots and miscellaneous mechanical body parts. Some of these piles of scraps are even quit large. Anyway, I'm glad that this sort of tech is laying around everywhere, it's made Plugs job of fixing the Ark much easier. He is making great progress in that regard, he say's it will only be a few more days before we can send a few people back to report.
It's odd that we still haven't found out where we are. In fact, aside from destroyed mechs, we haven't seen very much metal, no road signs. And some steel building are missing from there foundations it doesn't seem like anything destroyed them, they are just missing. Well we should be getting some answers soon, Jeff has decided to send out a long rang search party every body has volunteered to go except Plug who knows he has to stay and fix the Ark.

the Ark is almost complete, and the search party still hasn't returned. To be honest now I'm almost glad I wasn't chosen to go, lately we've been hearing odd sounds, which is strange due to the fact that we have yet to locate any forms of life. Some of these sounds are painfully high pitched, while others are much, much lower. I am guessing that these noises is just our audio equipment malfunctioning, but after running some diagnostics, Plug is not convinced. Either way, it seems like this planet is more of a shell of rock than anything else... my emergence signals been activated, so I guess I'll have to cut this short, it's probably another malfunction, you would think people who work with computers and space crafts day after day would be able handle a bit of technology.
Enjoy!
