Intro: WIP recreating the Leene Square area from the Squaresoft classic Chrono Trigger. Really for no reason besides being my favorite RPG of all time. I am taking some artistic interpretation when modeling the 2d elements to 3d.
we are getting closer to finishing the scene. The flags need a lot of work we may look into doing a cloth sim for the fabric. Some of the textures aren't quite there yet. There are a bunch more props almost ready to be added to the scene. Last but not least we still need to tackle the infamous trees which will either make or break the scene so we will need to do some serious R&D to make them look great. If anyone has any suggestions or crits feel free to comment.

For the trees, I recommend the open-source solution ngPlant. It is a little confusing at first, but very powerful and has had some great stuff come out of it. Unfortunately it is broken in Lion, if you are running Mac OS. Still works in most builds of Linux though.
