The majority Communists today support LGBT rights, just like Lenin. (And you have to give him credit- back then, most people on Earth were homophobic no matter what their political bias was. It's just how the times were.) I've supported LGBT rights ever since I became politically aware, and will continue to do so.

Homosexuality is bad. Homosexuality injures the fabric of society, especially children. Homosexuality is anti procreation.
Homophobia is good. Homosexuality does not offer the stability of a traditional family. My grandfather was a communist and from Ministry of State Security of the GDR "Stasi". His job has been arresting gays and criminals. Children need the stability of a traditional family. Communists should to have more children - future warriors Red Army and future communists )))))))))

If you look the DDR decriminalized Homosexuality in 1967, which was in fact a year before the West. Homosexuality is a thing that happens, like it or not. People have as much choice over it as they do the colour of their skin. It's not something that can be gotten rid of, nor can it be solved, and thus society must accept it. And it's not just the US in which Communists support LGBT Rights: Cuba, Vietnam, China, Pre-1933 USSR, Laos, (officially) the DPRK, the Finnish Communist Party, the New Peoples' Army insurgents in the Philippines all support LGBT rights, as well as most western Communists. I am not aware as to the support in most eastern nations other than Russia, where the CPRF doesn't support them, and seems to be in a minority. And where do you live for Communists to beat gays and have torch light processions? The former DDR (judging by saying your grandfather was in the Stasi)? Sounds more like the SA than the RFB

Also I heard about torchlight processions antifascists in Spain, Italy, Hungary, Vietnam, Kurdistan, Greece, Russia, Poland. It is the old tradition. Torchlight procession antifascists 40 years ago in the GDR and in the 1930s communists.
