On the night of the blizzard, Taegan had made up a silly horror story about Eigel being a beast in Tephe. She loved the story and wanted to share it with some of the pups who would usually listen to her stories. One afternoon, Taegan watched three puppies and played at a spot by the Ewendell forest. She told them her new story.

The puppies were hooked, and started asking questions “Is the beast very big?” “Does it eat you if it gets you?!” Taegan chuckled at all of the questions, and just as luck would have it, Eigel appeared in the distance. Taegan and Eigel locked eyes as he was listening to her tale, she smirked at him and turned her attention to the puppies once again “The beast? oh, it is huuuuge! It eats fur and bones!” She was sneaking around the puppies to act the part “What does the beast look like?” one puppy asked “The beast looks awfully a lot like our barbarian Eigel, so watch out… even now he is watching.” She tilted her head towards Eigel who stood behind the pups, and they all slowly turned their heads to look at him.

“Hey…!” Eigel frowned at first, but then he felt inspired to play the role Tae had been describing and began walking toward the she-wolf and the pups. “Grr, I'm hungry... but you little ones are mere snacks for me... Hm, maybe I should eat this minstrel instead!” and playfully attacked Taegan by biting her ear. Taegan began to laugh and tried to push Eigel off “Oh no! Not my good ear! Charge brave Tephe warriors!”

The Puppies began running, jumping, and yipping around Eigel in an attempt to get him off Taegan while shouting and laughing “Save Miss Taegan!” and they all played together in the snow.

In the end, as Eigel had to return to his duties, one of the puppies poked Tae’s leg “Yes sweety?” She turned her head to the pup “It was pretty cool that the Gamma Barbarian wanted to play with us” The pup chuckled and the rest of them agreed. Taegan turned her head to watch Eigel as he walked away and smiled, and then back to the pups “He sure is” She nudged the puppy and together they returned to their parents.

Once again I stole ’s character Eigel to make this sweet moment between our characters <3

Luckily for Tae, the pups are very loyal to her and are willing to fight off the beast!
