Description
Reality, a commercial plugin for DAZ Studio for exporting models to the powerful rendering engine LuxRender.LuxRender offers a real simulation of lights and materials, creating awesome pictures with just one light source that acts like "the sun".
Disadvantage is the HIGH rendering time, making it not suitable for animations.
Future versions of LuxRender should include OpenCL and GPU Rendering, with a great reduction of the rendering time.

Good grief! DAZ rendering took only 5 minutes. However, she still looks fantastic in reality.

This month the new version of Reality, with GPU rendering support (Better speed) should be available... let's hope!!!

Woah, who knew LuxRender would take so long.
If I used it, my computer would probably be dead.

One good thing is the fact that you can stop a rendering, close the program... and the next time you open it, you can resume the rendering from the point were you stopped

That's a good thing; But I have less than a gig of of RAM in my computer and the damn thing is barely running Firefox.

Not really, it's pretty stable on my computer, though my programs tend to freeze rather often.
... Unless you were meaning your computer.

Ah the new one.
Nice. I really envy people with that. But hey, at least I can still run many programs with XP.

Perhaps a better light system in DAZ Studio will give you the opportunity not to use Lux...
I love Poser's lights a lot and in Carrara are even better!
