Paper reams gone to long forgotten
I don't really care if this rhymes
& I don't really care if you mind at all
I'm just trying to be who I was born to
But maybe that will be my downfall
Because I don't understand this world
Or the creator of it
Will he hate me if I fail my mission?
Or will he just love me because I'm above it
I try so damn hard to be something great
But I can't because it's too late for me
I gave up but now I try again
Just a teenager who's so Belligerent
I want to see but I forget that I can't
I have to wear thick rims
And even then I don't understand
Can he come down and explain to me
Because it's too much right now
What am I supposed to be, to see?
