Blue Bombshell is going to be my first superheroine OC. I'm a big fan of Renderpretender, MrBunnyart, and everything Metrobay so I thought I'd play around with some heroine DiD, mind control, etc.

Bridgette Hanson, a smalltown midwestern girl spent her youth growing up in rural America. Her life was horribly mundane until shortly before leaving home for college. While on a walk on a secluded nature trail, she discovered a very small meteorite that had crash landed the night before. Little did Bridgette know that this meteorite was home to high energy alien spores. Enthralled by the blue glow of the stone, she touched it only to set off a violent reaction and explosion which seeded the spores deep into her tissues. While the remaining spores were destroyed, those that remained in Bridgette began forming a symbiotic bond with her physiology. Her cellular membranes were reinforced and her metabolism overhauled to allow her immense strength, durability, and high energy output enabling her to fly and cast super-heated plasma projectiles at will.

Through college, Bridgette developed her powers at the cost of her social life. A shy country girl, she had trouble relating to her more urbane peers. Nevertheless, she graduated with honors and landed a prestigious position at an investment firm in Superior City.

With life in the city growing more dangerous by the day, Bridgette took it upon herself to use her powers to fight crime. Inspired by historical pinup art, she took on the persona of The Blue Bombshell in hopes of inspiring the city with a vision of squeeky clean Americana.

Powers: Super durable tissue, flight, high energy plasma.

Weaknesses: Spores are stunned by electric current and high frequency sound waves, neutralizing her powers.

Secrets: Bridgette is insecure about her upbringing, shy, and is a very passive person. Her Blue Bombshell persona is an escape mechanism from these traits. She also has never had a chance to sow her wild oats and secretly desires to cut loose.
