I love Luna, but I call cheats. Two on one isn't a fair fight, just like fighting Discord. Two on one with the Elements is cheats. Or even NM, Celestia with Elements vs. NM-Luna.

Note that Chyrsalis never wanted to rule Equestria. She just wanted to feed her Changelings. Quite frankly I hate the mane six right now. They were at a wedding while the Changeling swarm was kicked out with an barrier that had lightening coming off it and left to starve. Her intentions were pure, but her exicution in her plan was as pure as it could get with them. She couldn't just trot in the grand hall in Canterlot castle and say "Hey can we suck you guys dry until you are emotionless husks?" :] She had to lead an assault because her people were hungry. Luna and Celestia would do the same thing if Equestria was going through a famine or draught. If they can't grow food, buy imports, or no other kingdom will provide any food they will use force to get it. It's an instinct. Even humans have it.

Mean? Mean?! That was the most rational they could do. Fuck a wedding! I would crash a president's wedding to make sure that the rest of my family could eat. It's a matter of the end justifying the means. I don't know if you've went without food before, but I have so I'm with the shapeshifting wedding crashers.

They didn't want to steal jack. They wanted to eat and I dare you to go a whole day with out eating. Do that and multiply it by the days that the Changelings go without food. Then you'll see that life isn't sunshine and rainbows.

Think of it this way. I know the princesses wouldn't mind giving food if it didn't leave you an emotionless sack. They feed off of an emotion. I don't know if that kind of thing is temporary or not, but I don't think you'd be willing to offer your "love" to me if I wanted to eat knowing that it might mess you up in some kind of way.

As far as we know that's all they eat. If it was apples or something then I don't see much reason for them going to war instead of asking considering this is a kid show. I say they had no other solution. You saw how draining Shining Armor of his love for Cadence effected him. His eyes went loopy and he was weak. I don't think that feeding a whole swarm that will eat until they make you physically weak would bode well with the ponies. Only pony I think who is that nice is possibly Fluttershy, but Rarity wouldn't let her be pushed around like that so that's crossed out.

well...being drained of the love in your body is like they're eating your soul...I don't think fluttershy want that even if she wants to help...
let's put this on this way...someone created the changelings, the only thing they can eat is love, how is supposed they're gonna live?...where did the creator want them to eat from?...what if they're eat everypony's love?...will they survive?...

That's my point. If you don't eat you eventually die. They were doing what it takes to survive. I'm a hunter. I've hunted many animals and I ate their furry tails. I was in the woods hunting and fishing with my uncle and he told me that's all we were going to eat was off the earth. We didn't kill everything in the forest, but we did kill a deer, some squirrels, rabbit, and took some fish. We knew when to stop. I think they would know moderation, but they would eat until they were full and probably move on like lotcus. They'd probably hit the dragons or griffins next after they've had their fill in Equestria. It's probably a cycle of where they hit too so the food won't die out. I don't take them as dumb creatures. Even wolves know that they have to defend their prey, most likely from other preditors.

there were way more changelings than all the ponies we have seen in all seasons...so I think if every changeling eat the love of a pony...a lot of changelings hadn't have love to eat...what had they do?...even if the ponies hadn't fought, there had not been enough ponies to feed all the changelings...they all had died eventually...

Them lined up like that reminds me of one of those RPG boss fights in video games. All it needs are a few stat boxes for Luna and Celestia.

Dude! My thoughts exactly, besides Luna losing. Well she would have lost if she fought queen Chrysalis by herself, but the two of them should have worked together. Luna should have been there to help Celestia. That is how it should have happened. But then again, it wouldn't have given Princess Cadence and Shining Armour the spotlight if Celestia and Luna defeated the queen.

it would be the saddest moment ever if she had saw celestia "dying"...I imagine now...she saw that scene and then she cries...she quickly gets angry and becomes nightmare moon...then defeat chrysalis and all the changelings...but the anger is still there and she's in a battle of being luna again...

Nice stare-down action you've made here! I agree that Luna should have at least been there to try and off Chrysalis after Chrysalis revealed herself...instead I guess Luna just sort of napped through this whole season finale. And then she had the nerve to show up at the end dance and ask if she missed anything >_>
