I was supposed to post this forever ago but I've hardly been home the past few days D:

Anywho, this is Maddie!! I've actually drawn her before, but she looked nothing like this because those weren't her official character designs. Madelyne is a 16-year-old scottish girl who lives with her father and twin older brothers in their small village. She has 12 siblings and is the youngest of them all. The other 10 have moved away from home for life-style opportunities, marriage, etc. Her older brothers (20 years old) are currently running a small restaurant together. It's shabby, but it's good. Her father's a retired baker that makes little metal sculptures in his spare time.

Maddie can usually be seen out finding an adventure to start when she's not helping out with her brothers' restaurant (she cleans and serves). She has a thing against shoes, so she's almost always barefoot. And her hair....well, I have yet an explanation for it since I haven't developed her much, but she likes it, that's for sure. Oh, and she's so freckled that her father says she has enough freckles for all of her ancestors and descendants combined.

Personality-wise, Madelyne knows when to mind her p's and q's (well-mannered) and appears very lady-like to those that don't know her. But those who do know her (and that's every villager) are very aware that she loves to explore and find new things to keep her interest, even if it means sticking her nose in some weird places (muddy farms, echoing caves, that one dense forest behind her village). She also enjoys giving a real show when she entertains her father with the stories of her journeys and has made sure to inform him of every single one since she was a child. He sits, smiles, and asks her questions about her travels as if they're the most interesting things he's ever heard, because they are.

Bottom-line, if you were to ask a neighbor they'd say she's the kind of girl you can't predict, but if you do see her, you should watch out for the "look" in her eye - the one that signifies the start of something interesting.

lol idek this is what i've come with it and it'll prob change, lmao. my oc, everyone (and darnit i designed her before Tangled and Brave came out - i nearly scrapped her character because i didn't want people going "oh she looks like Rapunzel" or "she reminds me of Merida!" so please dont start comparing shit)
