Dino Riders - Harness the Power of Dinosaurs

The series told the story of five astronauts lost in space from the science space-station, Cretaceo, until they’re found by a peaceful race of telepathic humans called Valorians whose home planet was conquered by the Rulon Empire. 400 survivors escaped on a spaceship then found five astronauts in the ship and time travelled to unknown planet in the future using the experimental Space-Time Energy Projector (also known as the S.T.E.P.). But Emperor Gralon and his lead commanders accidentally followed them in the future when a tractor beam locked onto the Valorians’ ship during the time jump. Stranded in the future, the two groups recruited the unknown planet. After the spaceship crash landed, one of five astronauts named Jonathan Adamson discovery the planet of the talking humanoid iguanas, lizards and turtles, and real-life dinosaurs. The astronauts’ very impress to the Valorians used their telepathy for peace with the humanoid reptiles and taming dinosaurs to ride and for domestic use. The Rulons captured dinosaurs with ‘mind-helmets’. These were large metal helmets which fit onto dinosaur’s heads and control their brains. Both Valorians and Rulons would often fit dinosaurs with huge arrays of laser and weapon platforms, upon which people could ride, and attack one another. Battle was mostly motivated by the Rulons’ desire to steal the S.T.E.P. from the Valorians (to get back to their time).

Genlosaur
Genlosaur turns out to be the remains of the Cretaceo, their former space-station, which has crashed on the planet’s surface and looks ancient (the name Genlosaur coming from the sign “Genetic Biological Dinosaurs”, the relevant letters being the only ones not covered in dust). According to the computer logs, the station has been for hundred for years.
