The Stasis Pod housing Baltrons Protoform was damaged when it crashed in mountain of planet Animia. The result was memory loss, which in turn led to Baltron feeling a greater affinity with his beast mode than his robot mode. Instead of joining the Maximals stationed at their ship and protect Puwok Village, Howlinger chose to remain in the wild and protect wolf pack.
