I saw Topsy watch or closed on Chomper in episodes, “The Mysterious Tooth Crisis”, “The Missing Fast-Water Adventure” and “The Lonely Journey”.

Seems totally legit like it came right out of the TV series.
Granted I'm glad Topps has mellowed out significantly since the events of the third film (which was when he was at his worst and only began to truly change once he saw how Hyp's own father treats his son) and isn't nearly as overprotective of Cera (nor as racist), XI pretty much completes his transition away from that grumpy old overprotective racist persona that he had since the third film by giving him a love interest and later a 2nd child.

Yup.
Plus Topps makes for some the funniest moments in the sequels:
In VIII, he tosses a huge snowball at Grandpa Longneck.
In X, during Cera's "Sleep-story" Cera hears him cheering on Littlefoot (which is something we never see him do once in any of the sequels), but it was still funny to hear him do that.
In XI, he was pretty much a comical-villain for most of the film (first Tria comes in, then he screams after he finds out that the Tree-Sweets were gone (probably the funniest scene with him in general).
In XII, we see Topps falling into the mud-hole (after Guido warned him), then Tria forces him off the cliff while sleeping was pretty funny.

But I think about Topsy is a villain sometimes.

He does understand when he upsets someone (Littlefoot in the 6th film).

Judging by the picture you showed me, I'm sure she didn't meant it.
After all, she did feel bad for calling Littlefoot's mom a stupid Longneck (just took her longer to realize her error).

At least she returned in the end to finish off Sharptooth, since that, she's mellowed out (if she tries to tease someone like Chomper, she ends up regretting it in the end).

It is a good thing that Topsy did not discover Chomper in the Great Valley Adventure because knowing him he would probably kill the poor little Sharptooth.
