Happy New Year! I thought I'd start the year off with a BANG with a full painting!

I saw the MLP movie a few days ago and was inspired because the antagonist looks so much like a betta fish, I was surprised that they didn't turn HER into a Seaponytm for a while!

Man I haven't done a fully rendered painting in a while! Things I learned: I should paint and do canon characters as a subject more often. I love playing with the glowwy effects and how the light bounces off of everything~ but GEEZ this took 85 layers!!! Mostly just me not wanting to merge them for fear of messing up. Another thing that bothered me about this is that my computer apparently has TERRIBLE colors or something because it always looks less-saturated than my phone or another higher-quality computer. Its frustrating because what I see isn't REALLY what I made..

Anyway, I hope you all like it! I'm thinking about having a monthly suggestion for Patrons to suggest canon characters/or anything to fully paint. Do one painting a month or something!
