Lol, I agree. I haven't ever found a betta from a local fish store that I've absolutely loved for his or her coloration. So mainly I adopt fish from friends online or buy them online from certain sites.

lol, it's not really difficult, just sort of expensive . I'm on a small betta fish forum with a lot of active breeders/friends which is nice (gotta love discounts ) and the online sites are well known so there are methods to the madness.

What a pretty betta! I have one that is a similar pinkish color with blue on his fins, but that stripe is wicked!

i've seen many color combinations of bettas in the past year. i've seen some that look like gold, some that look like tie-dye, some that look like Koi fish. but, never in my time spent researching bettas like i have, have i seen one like this fella! he's stunning! <3 one thing picks at my mind, though, and that's the funky scaling right in that blue stripe. it looks like someone was putting sequins on him, and messed up a little. but, that makes him even more amazing. <3 <3 <3

and its hard to see on this pic but his body apart from head and stripe is white and the white goes partly onto fins before changing to dalmation type colour

thankyou!! yes he was just soooooo different i just had to have him hoping he would survive near hour long trip back home, luckily he did!!! yeah he got some mucked up scaling ive had a few like that n as nice as it would be to have perfect scales it just adds to their uniquness
