The background is an in-game screenshot from the Citadel DLC. There's no obscure secrets there

mmm Kaidan goodness. I'm really glad they have been of use to you. I always prefer the standard armature from the game makes modding a lot easier too. but honestly I really love this your renders are always so beautifully done.
I really need to learn how to use blender for renders while I love xps its limited for renders.

No, I don't use XPS except when there isn't the mesh.ashii file. Indeed I have two version of blender the 2.49b and the 2.71. The former is more supported with add-ons, indeed there is one that imports the mesh.asci file format. After having the model in Blender I save the file and append all objects to a new file created with the latter version of Blender... I hope I was clear
