Anemone and Tamarin are absolute cuties and I posted HCs about the earlier and I .. love them so much aaa.
I do believe their relationship would work (I know its a little controversial as to whether or not this is just queerbaiting haha//) and I think they're rlly cute !!

i like this drawing, but i don't really see them in a romantic relationship
i feel that anemone, being hotheaded and rude, would be abusive and get angry at tamarin, who being shy and sweet would just accept it and be under the impression that anemone loved her and it was just tough love. anemone (being spoiled) would pressure tamarin into situations that tamarin wouldn't be comfortable in, because she's so used to getting what she wants.

It really, truly depends on how you interpret the characters. I've always seen Anemone as a stuck-up, spoiled brat, yeah, but in my mind she's always been so pampered that she simply didn't understand how the world worked. In her fight with Turtle, she had her head pulled out of her ass in a metaphorical way, as she was shown that she wasn't special. Someone gave her her powers and someone could take them away from her. She was utterly grounded as the rug was pulled from under her and she rediscovered the world as it was.
And maybe it's just me and my distaste for how many shy pushover characters are in WoF, but I've never seen Tamarin as weak or shy. This is the dragon who was born in a near-completely abled community, and still persisted and didn't simply remain stagnant. Thiss is the dragon who was adopted by the entire tribe, socializing with everyone, and came out a better person for it. This is a dragon who memorized all the paths and platforms and quirks of the rainforest, and boasts the scars to prove it. Maybe its just me wanting a character who isn't disabled by love and who isn't another sweet, shy stereotype, but I simply do not see Tamarin as weak.
What I'm getting at is that, personally, I see Tamarin as less of a wagon and more of an Anchor to Anemone's momentum- she wouldn't just be pulled along and dragged int he wake of vanity and spoiled pressure, she would tell Anemone what she was doing and help her. It does turn back on her being sweet-she wants to help Anemone the way Anemone was helping her, but ti doesn't work, so she help's Anemone the way she needs to be helped.
++ Anemone wasn't ever rude or mean to Tamarin, she wanted to see her safe and happy. I can only imagine that after being controlled and manipulated her whole life, Anemone has potential to get a grasp on her own emotions and take responsibility for what she does, and figure out that she needs to be better.
idk I don't see Tamarin as the pushover others seem to, but maybe thats just me :00 I definitely see your points though, my headcanons might just be way OOC

I actually rlly like them as a couple and think it could work out. they were friends and looked out for each other before so its not like theyre complete strangers yknow? theyre cute and I hope if we go back to pyrrhia in the 3rd arc we get to see them

I'm a little worried that its just gonna end up being a replacement for Umbli/Qinter because Tui couldn't make a main character have a gay relationship, though,, it just seems like it cause of how all the mains are straight and Umber was hesitantly gay but we couldn't have a main gay so we have those two nice background characters instead
I do like it a lot though !!!
