Yeah very true. I know Claire gets paired up with Leon/Wesker/Steve alot while Billy gets paired up with Rebbecca alot, but To me these characters are either alright combinations or they just would only work in Fanfiction. Forgive me but I'm about to go on with a rant, about character pairings, but I hope you find it interesting.

Claire/Leon: While this is very popular, I see some faults, one of them being Ada Wong, who as anyone can tell leon cares about alot, heck they seem like the only real couple in RE. While Claire could bring out Leon's potential I see them more as close friends rather then lovers. Plus Leon is very flirty guy, and would probably tick off Claire if she saw him, flirting with another chick, end result could be a cat fight.

Claire/Wesker: Only in fanfiction could this work out, note my favorite Re fanfic is a Claire/Wesker one but they don't end up being with one another. In the canon story Wesker would probably kill her, not only cause she's a Redfield but rather he could use her to torture her brother in the process while she would actually try and kill Wesker for all he's done to her brother and innocent people the worldover. There's just abit too much hate reaking from this one. Plus I don't think Wesker is the relationship type anyways.

Claire/Steve: Well theres a huge problem(well 2 actually). Steve the man died in Code Veronica, though he did admit to love Claire and restraned himself from killing her, but that was 15 seconds or so after he became a monster. Add in the effects over time, 6 years by RE4, if he is still alive then, would he be the same person still even after exposed to the virus for that long? Probably not, since the virus did originally transform him into a tyrant. Plus I see Claire's reaction as a person who's lost a friend after he died. Too much people mistake this for lovey dovey feelings when its just a friendly feeling.

Billy/Rebecca: [link] Down the page should be a rant someone did about that relationship. They hit the nail on that arguement. Rebecca is too much of a child for Billy, he needs a woman.

But as to why I like the Billy/Claire, here it is. Well unlike the other guys Billy not only has this sarcasstic side to him with his soft side you soon begin to find out as he explains his past. While Claire is this rebellous woman who can fight her way out of any situation,but is also a gentle soul inside. Both Characters would seem to be against one another at first, due to both character's strong independence but as they would get to know one another both of their soft sides will come out to another. Claire is a mature woman,who would not only challenge Billy, but also comfort him as she found out more about him & he would comfort her knowing that deep down he's not a bad guy but someone who rather not see anyone hurt. While Billy's appearance would be very attractive to her(she is rebellous and just the thought of Chris seeing her with him would probably make Chris go nuts, something that'll make her smile), as he would find out more about her, he would come to enjoy her smart attitude and her soft side whenever he needed to feel loved.

Now I feel like writing a fanfic of my own about them.

Haha! I fully agree with all of that! Some of the points you made there...about the sarcasm and such are the same reasons I've tried to explain to friends that these two WORK. They have the same values, but are just different enough to still compliment each other. Claire has always been a DEEP character, and you can see that in Billy too. It doesn't take much thought to realize both of them would find respect for one another. I didn't read the rant of Rebbecca, but I've always thought she was too much of a kid...she annoys the hell out of me too, lol. To me those two...seems more like she has a crush, that he's charmed by...but nothing more. After what Billy has been through, he does need a more mature woman, also a girl who can handle his sarcasm, etc. Same goes for Claire...and yeah I agree with you about Leon and Steve. I find Leon a bit too shallow for her, and Ada is just as shallow if not more so than Leon ,lol. You should write a fan fic, lol...I can do a picture for it too, lol....now you've got me wanting to artwork with the two XD!

I've gotta get someone to cosplay Billy with me again, that was allot of fun.

Hmm, an artwork to go with my fanfic? brillant! I would be honored if you did do that. I'll be setting the story around RE4's timeline. 6 years after the Raccoon City incident, after seeing the film preveiw Degeneration, Claire seems to have been living a normal life so I'll have it set in a city where after the Virus Incident, Claire has completed college and has been living a normal life as a Mueseum curator(she's an artist so I think this job suits her) and well going out one evening to enjoy herself she runs into Billy whose life has constantly been staying in one place for abit and soon leaving, taking up some small odd jobs just to make enough money to survive and move on. Has Billy found a reason to stay put, and can Claire open her heart out to someone who's life just like hers was turned upside down?

Cool, sound's nice! Claire soooo needs a man . Did you make up her being an artist, or is that actually part of the Degeneration story? I know nothing about the film besides what the trailer shows. Seems her and I keep ending up with things in common ...now about finding myself a Billy...*stalks* lol.

I'll definitely do a fan art that can go along with what you write. I've been wanting to for a long time anyway. I'm just not sure WHEN, I have my hands full at the moment with sculpting stuff, but it will happen. I have an old fan pic of her with Leon, I'll either morph Leon into Billy or start over, depending .

Its actually canon to the RE stroy thats the reason she was going to college. Both an artist in Writing and Artwork. Lol, you'll find a Billy sooner or later. Life is very unexpected, and things just happen. When and where though is life's mystery.

I wouldn't mind having a woman like Claire though, Lol, a strong willed, smart mouth woman, with a good heart is what I want. looks don't matter, its the person that matters. Cause looks over time fade, but your impression as a person lasts a lifetime.

Finding the right person is like finding a needle in a stack of needles, lol. Looks can matter at first, but they're not what's important for the long run...not at all. I have faith though, it will happen when it's God's will. Now I feel like Claire is copycatting me with the artist thing! I would be in college right now if I could afford it, but can't...so I'm doing freelance art while trying to get a steady job with the artwork. I'd rather be a starving artist than go back to working register after having worked at an FX shop! X_X

Thanks for the compliment on my work, In appreciate it because I give it my all...and devote MANY hours to it. I have 5 Birkin Chibis, and 4 Billy Coen chibis to paint that I'll be selling. Well, 2 Billys are spoken for (one I'm keeping and one for someone who funded my supplies). I'll probably have them ready to sell by next week, $50 a pop if you or anyone you know is interested, I also have 2 zombies left, LOL. I have photos of the last batch of completed Birkins on here XD. Billy's tattoo is going to be tedious to paint 4 times, but it's actually engraved on the sculpture, so I already have guidelines. If I have time over the weekend I'll be sculpting a chibi Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2, that one should sell! I have a whole handful of RE chibis planned, it will just take a while to get to them all. I chose a cartoony style since they already make realistic figures...BUT WHERE'S BILLY?? Neca needs to make one already!

Now I know why it's Biblical to guard your heart, people are NOT SUPPOSED to have to endure that form of pain, we're supposed to be CAREFUL with one another's hearts and our own. My ex was not careful with my heart, but I was foolish to rip mine out, wrap it with a pretty bow, and put it in his hands to begin with...lol. I'm not giving my next boyfriend anything less because I was hurt, but there are certain emotional walls that I will keep up until I'm married (real commitment)...if that makes sense. I am not going through that LEVEL of pain again, ever, not by my own fault (even though it wasn't all mine some was). You have to risk in order to trust someone, but you don't have to let all your defenses tumble down...leaving you vulnerable for complete and utter devastation. Cause man, hell hath no fury like a Scorpio woman scorned...I rose from the ashes like a pissed off phoenix hell bent on setting his a$$ on fire (not in the good way).I was good though, I didn't kill or maim him, muahha. Sorry imagination got the better of me XD.

I contained most of my rage for him, I never fully exploded. It was more like little bits of flame peeking out now and then if he worded something a certain way. I tried my best to get past the anger stage, because in reality he did have the RIGHT to break up with me, and it wasn't ALL his fault. It was my first time being a girlfriend, of course I didn't handle things or behave in the best ways all the time. I knew allot of the "rage" I was feeling was irrational and unhealthy...and that's ultimately what got me over it. I still feel sensitive to him though, it doesn't take much for him to anger me. I'll be surprised if that ever fully goes away.

It's really amazing just how much I feel I learned through that sh!tty experience. I wish I would have understood the whole "walls" thing when I was your age, but better late than never XD. I guess that's the price I pay for avoiding the drama at a younger age.

Yes, the Hell Hath No Fury quote is very real...lol. Let's just say my ex is lucky I have morals, and I'm somewhat rational XD.

Thanks for the tip! I normally wouldn't put anyone elses stuff up, as I like to do my own work and I'm against copycating, or taking credit...but I thought this was pretty funny, and Billy Coen is my favorite of the RE guys I think (Leon and Wesker are favs too, so it's hard to say..but Billy is perobably my favorite, he has more depth than Leon IMO)..so I couldn't resist. I'll try to think up my own scenario without copying this same pose, but until then hopefully I won't get busted. I'm soooo not meaning to do anything shifty by putting that up, besides, I can draw my own stuff anyway so it wouldn't make sense for me to have bad intentions XD. Yeah, the expression on Chris is priceless. I've come across so much Japanese RE fanart, and some of the little comics...man I wish I could read them so it would explain the whacked drawings and situations they put the characters into XD!! I've seen some very crazy stuff involving the Merchant and Leon (looks like he was selling his clothes to him or something XD!) lol. Gotta be careful though, I've come across some pretty sick stuff on some of those sites.

I just know people who've had like gifts removed from their page cause the person who drew the picture didn't comment on it but you have a disclaimer up so hopefully that should be enough Yeah Billy I have more fondness for now and I did like allot of his dialogue especially when it came to how he spoke with Rebecca like there there small thing but then showed up anyways that was just nice.

Okay straight up I have NO idea. I remember the day I found out what scat was (apparently not a musical style as I first asumed.) and I am still totally gagging from that. Like that is fucking disgusting and someone drawing it is bad enough but the fact there is a market for it. Well, I'm a Christian.. but I can still appreciate "sexy" things, and I'm int no way overly conservative. I don't get the whole furry thing either, I love werewolves..I think they're awesome, and I love animals, but not in a sexual sense, yuck! Maybe I'd be into that if I WAS a werewolf? lol. My werewolf dude is handsome, but only when he's in human form, not wolf form XD! He's just "kicka$$" in wolf form. I am fairly conservative with what I think is normal though..I think anything outside of a manXwoman is getting into perversion territory, but I don't mistreat someone if they're gay or something.

Well while not Christian myself I do have allot of similar values. Infidelity for example is something that I cannot stand in people like you either commit or you don’t get involved. Sleeping around is not okay. And not premarital sex as such but sex outside someone who you love and is going to be your life partner I find to be quite distasteful. Long as the relationship is loving then am okay with it, regardless of the gender of people involved. Like as long as everyone is of an age where they know what they are doing and it’s consensual then tis fine.

But yeah having a religion doesn't mean you have to be devoid of sexuality though and can't apperciate things which are attractive. Yeah see I feel the same like a werewolf is a massive creature which commands allot of power. It's strong and fast and can be intellegent I mean that's grate but to believe that you are one? Tis just rather odd I think. You have a werewolf?

I shall need to go a hunting then I think you've got okay levels though like you seem pretty well balanced on the whole thing. Dragons are another one like you are not a dragon young lady no matter what you might see. And people give their dragon age and things like that. I mean we'd all like to be able to breath fire but I'm afraid it just doesn't happen.
