For my upcoming costume, my new sword! For those who don't know, I'm planning a female link costume that had been designed by Adam Law [link] and [link]
In the picture she's depicted with a more traditional Master sword, but in another picture this sword design is seen in the foreground. Since she's supposed to be constructing the weapon that could destroy Ganon, I've surmised that it's most likely the Master sword in its infancy. I've finished this in a different style than I usually would, keeping the paint job very rough and heavy. I've decided I wanted to keep the entire costume and props more painterly, to reflect the fact that this is all from a fan art that was created in a digital painting. I hope this comes across...please let me know what you think!
The sword is made of solid poplar with cast plastic for the jewels, painted with spray paint and acrylic.
