Season: Autumn 2023
Location: Volaires Territory
Prompt: At least we're under the same sky...
Summary: This is the first time a threat as big as this one has appeared (by outside forces, anyways) and Vivienne had to see her friends and family off to fight in what she could only assume would be a gruesome war. Forbidden from going (a dumb decision if she did, she did not know how to fight as it was, she would surely perish on any battlefield as it was), she found herself waiting under the darkening sky most evenings, waiting for her favorite cousin to return back home.

However, she couldn't help the uncertain and cruel thoughts that clouded her mind, whisperings of their death and The Way losing the war kept her awake most nights. She had no true idea what had progressed on the battlefield, who may have died or lived. She was forced to simply wait until Volaires returned home to see if the one she cared most for survived, and to see how many lives Volaires may have lost.

At least, dead or alive, Vivienne sat beneath the same sky that overlooked the battlefield and the brave souls who fought on it...

Anyways, this is Vivienne's first official piece in the group! She's super worried and waiting as patiently as she can to see if her (2nd) cousin, Faon, woul return alive.

This is set before the Volaires wolves returned home, of course!
