First of the lines are not mine. They were drawn by the exceedingly talented . This is the iconic (for better or worse) Drizzt Do'urden. Very entertaining books when I was younger, though Artemis was always my favorite, I actually think I managed to do so nice work with this one. And in only 4 or 5 hours to boot. Must be a new record. For the dozen of you who are going to look at this enjoy.

Some dramatic ears there. I always like to see new takes on Drizzt. I read little of Salvatore nowadays but Drizzt was my door into fantasy so I'll always like the guy.

Great job with the metal on the scimitars. That's the first thing that caught my eye. The lighting effect is very well done. His eyes are....red? They're supposed to be a marvelous violet color, right? (Don't pay attention. I really have no right to critique. I can 't color worth crap). Everything else looks just fine.
X3 A very good job! It reminds me of the end of Exile, when he first emerges out of the Underdark. So moving. Totally faving.

I am glad you find it amazing. I am pretty proud of this one. I am not the biggest fan of Drizzt but I do have a soft spot for Artemis and Jarlaxl (sorry if I can't spell it though) I am happy to be in your favorites. Thanks.

I just have read "Halfling's gem" and I know Artemis aren't dead. ^_^ I think Enteri is interesting character

Im a HUGE Drizzt fan, I've read all books on him and cant wait for the next, if there is a next. The one thing i hate about the new illustrations, though they are better then the early ones, is that they depict him with ALL of his equipment that he's aquired throughout his travels right when he comes out of the underdark. I'm not critisizing your art because he could be comeing out of a cave he camped in not the underdark, but in reality he doesn't get his two famous scimitars, Icingdeath and Twinkle until long after he leaves the underdark. The green cloak with fur collar is a gift later on in the story. Personally I love this picture great color and good depiction of the character. Keep up the good work.

i realized that the older books' cover art was a bit,well, really out dated. then i went in this Book Exchange store down the street from me and came across the first three books of "The Legand of Drizzt" but they had new covers. i believe they were re-done in 2000 by a man named Todd....cant remember his last name, but he's done many of the cover illustrations for lots of the Forgotten Relm books. Several of which were done for Ed Greenwood himself.

I like it a lot. Probably the best coloring I've seen of this peice so far. I still think the armor could use a little bit more color though. Still very nice!
