Sorry to bother with these questions, I'm simply curious because I myself find it hard to relax in front of a camera and act naturally, therefore pictures of me rarely turn out well.

Different models require a different amount of control for their poses, although I always have an idea of what kindoff shots I want beforehand. Some models require you to control everything and give speicifc directions, while other models such as Emily are incredibly easy to pose and only really need a suggestion for a pose.
The psoe for this iamge was created while me and Emily were talking after i'd just taken a few pictures, I saw the pose, told her to hold it and change her expression.
