Awww Angemon!

Angemon's debut episode was the second Digimon Adventure episode I watched when I was a child, and the SMILE he wore when he told Takeru they'd reunite soon after using up all his energy fighting against Devimon. And feathers gathered at Takeru's feet that became a DigiEgg. Those scenes just couldn't get off my head for a very long time. They were somehow warm and angelic even if very very sad. (And the egg hatched fast; it was Takeru taking care of it that explained everything)

And I watched that episode two days ago and wept again. I so love him!

And your depiction of him and Takeru is SO PERFECT; tear is gathering in my eyes again.

Man, I remember Angemon's debut.  He basically uses up all his power to defeat Devimon and basically tells T.K. he'll come back when he wants him to as he fades into data.  I felt sad for T.K. when Angemon's data came back as a DigiEgg.
