Been working on this on-and-off for a long time now. This pic was totally inspired by and after reading War of the Worlds.Here's my little story for this: After a planet has been blasted through an Organic Sweep, The Armada deploys a number of troops and battle mechs to clear out any remaining lifeforms.

They look more the Scrin Annihilator Tripods from Command & Conquer 3: Kanes Wrath though mostly modified

Man this is a totally awesome picture, I love the designs for the "Doom Stalkers" it does sound stupid but it sounds like what they'd probably be called. My favorite parts are the ships flying, the guys getting blasted, and the scared guy at the bottom. SO cool.
