Description So I am not the retard I thought I was when it came to making these things. A simple stamp to support breastfeeding. I put the breast cancer ribbon on this stamp because breastfeeding reduces your breast cancer risk.

Put this stamp in your journal and proudly support this beautiful and natural phenomena.

When I have my baby (which I'm currently five months pregnant with) I do plan on breastfeeding my wonderful child! It's a beautiful thing, and it's so bonding with the child!

I agree. I breastfed I first one until she was 15 months There's so many benefits to it as well! Congratulations on your bundle of joy!

15 months? Really? Wow! I've just known most women to breastfeed until the babies are able to eat solid foods, then they wean them off right then and there. 15 months! WOW! I actually heard that the longer you breastfeed, the better behaved they'll be AND the more intelligent!

And thank-you! I'm so excited! I'm now 18 weeks, and I'm starting to actually feel GOOD! (still tired ALL the time, haha! We're wondering if it's twins for a few reasons). What I'd REALLY like to do with the breastfeeding is actually half feed on the breast and half feed on the bottle (with breast milk). That way, my hubby can feed. ^__^ He REALLY wants to do that, and I've discovered that children get closer to their fathers that way. Just really for home and/or at night. We'll see how that comes out.

There ARE so many benefits! There isn't ONE negative thing out there that holds some TRUTH to it! I know breastfeeding in public has had to have people legalize it, but I think that's just stupid. We should be able to feed our babies no matter when or where! There ARE some decencies to keep controversy to a minimum (basically, a cover or something), but really...people should just forget that breasts are always sensual, and they should be HAPPY that a mother is feeding her little child! I think it's one of the most beautiful things in this world, as is a pregnant woman! God made it that way, and we should keep it like that. ^__^

My husband and I tried the half/half thing wih our son, and he does seem to be closer to daddy because of it. Get a good pump (some hospitals give you a hand pump) and breast milk in the freezer is good for up to 6 months.

I had to stop breastfeeding my daughter at 15 months because we had another on the way. I was, I believe, 25 weeks when I stopped. My daughter is much more intelligent than most 3 year olds.

The whole breastfeeding in public thing I believe is more "controversial" because breasts are generally viewed as sexual. We live in a generally sexualized world where the young are exposed to the sexual side of things sooner than the healthy. I say "Don't look at what you don't like." You know, the head in the ground ostrich approach.

Exactly. But, some people think it's grotesque! I find it wonderful when a woman feeds her baby, no matter where she is. That means she's caring about her child more than her image or what other people think! If we were to always care about what people might think, we'd NEVER be able to do ANYTHING!

I've got a cousin (she has a one year old, now) who's going to lend me her electric pump. ^__^ I'm definitely going to at least give it a try! My hubby wants to feed our baby, and I wouldn't mind the idea of a break once in a while (plus some adorable pictures).

You were 25 weeks when you stopped?! WOW! I'm just a little curious. How old are you? Earlier 20's? Later 20's? I'm turning 21 soon, and my baby's due in September. I know I'm young, but we hadn't exactly been planning on this. I got pregnant...six months after we got married.

I'm 23 going on 24 in August...so 23 3/4? I had my first when I was 20 and my second a month shy of 22. No more because we now have one of each!
