hm.
the majority I saw were careless talk + war bonds + enlisting,
but then again, google probably isn't the best place to find refs of propaganda posters. orz

Wikipedia is relatively unreliable half of the time despite the fact that I use it a lot.
owell, I don't know, I just went off of what Google Images came up and the pages I found about WW2 Propaganda.

"we can do it" woman work force in ww2

Mecha-Turtle In reply to gilbird2 [2011-07-16 05:48:16 +0000 UTC]

Yes, but just because that one was popular doesn't mean those were the only ones.

And honestly, If I did a "Woman Work Force" theme for my propaganda poster, it would feel much less original then the Careless Talk idea.
At least to me, that is.

true but how about 'bring him home sooner...join the WAVES' no one as done that

Mecha-Turtle In reply to gilbird2 [2011-07-16 05:55:45 +0000 UTC]

Hm, I might in the future. I did consider it earlier, though.
Thinking about it, if I had done a "Join the Waves" one, you, or anyone else, could have just as easily asked why I didn't do a "Careless Talking" one instead.
-shrug-
Can't please everyone, I guess.
