This is probably like... my favourite painting. Like. Ever.
I was actually attempting realism without reference... and I failed miserably with the realistic part. But it turned out pretty good. And (she wasn't suppost to be a blonde angel... I hate myself for always making angels with long blonde hair. >_<;; I don't know why I do it either. Stupid stereo types...) I was afraid of inking it at first... but then I got a hold of a sakura micron while at an art show, and just worked away at it. It took about 3 hours actually. Inking and painting.
I'm absolutely inlove with this. :]

It's quite beautiful. The flowing lines of her hair, the starburst fairy-confetti-lights in the background, her contented expression (and that cute li'l nose!), and the radiating wings -- awesomeness. The way you applied color to this piece is really amazing.

I love the texture of her wings and all of the colour and textures in the background. The flow of her hair looks great- the hues in it are so pretty! I like the softness of her features and how relaxed her face looks :3

My natural Hair color is a yucky dirty blonde that looks silver in contrast to my usual red color. XD
alot of people think my hair is naturally strawberry blonde...
I just recently died it a dark red and it looks hot. O:

I think it's because the strawberry blonde really, really suits you. You seem to have a pink complexion-- so the strawberry blonde goes with it perfectly.
